PolyTECHSummit

On October 18, 2025, the PolyTECH Summit took place at the UNIT.City innovation park (Kyiv)—the final stage of the national educational program PolyTECH EDU, implemented by UNIT.City with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The event brought together the most active students from technical and polytechnic universities across the country, who had spent five weeks in intensive training dedicated to technological innovation, digital skills, and career development in the innovation-driven economy.
The Faculty of Physics and Technology of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University was represented by Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Ruslan Zapukhliak, Head of the Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science Volodymyr Kotsiubynskyi, bachelor’s students Maksym Derhun, Dmytro Symotiuk, Andriana Maksymovych, and master’s students Iryna Kamin and Liubov Babinchuk. All the students successfully completed the training stages and were invited to the final summit in Kyiv.

The PolyTECH EDU program included lectures and workshops on digital technologies and project marketing, delivered by speakers from leading Ukrainian tech companies. Thanks to interactive learning formats, participants gained hands-on experience in teamwork and were able to present their own solutions to business challenges proposed by partner companies.

The program culminated in the PolyTECH Summit, which brought together students, experts, entrepreneurs, and government representatives at UNIT.City. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine served as a strategic partner of the summit, underscoring the importance of developing engineering and technical education as a foundation for the country’s future economic growth. Ministry representatives emphasized that today’s challenges—digitalization, infrastructure recovery, and energy security—require a new generation of professionals capable of creative thinking, implementing innovation, and working in interdisciplinary teams.
Within the Tech Zone—the summit’s technology career area—students had the opportunity to speak directly with representatives of leading companies, learn about open positions, internships, and startup opportunities. Networking sessions created a space for exchanging ideas among young engineers, entrepreneurs, and educators, forming a community of Ukraine’s future technology leaders.

PolyTECH Summit confirmed that partnership between universities, the state, and business is the most effective path to building an innovative Ukraine—a country where young people are creating the technological future today.
