On November 13, 2025, professors from the Physics and Technology Department of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University — Volodymyr Kotsiubynskyi and Volodymyra Boichuk (Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science) and Volodymyr Hryha (Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics) — held a large career guidance meeting with graduating students in Dolyna. The event took place at the Dolyna Scientific Natural and Mathematical Lyceum “Intellect.”
The main topic of the meeting was the choice of future profession and place of study, with an emphasis on the importance of natural science and engineering education both in terms of opportunities for self-realization of young Ukrainians and its significance for post-war reconstruction and strengthening the defense capabilities of our state.
Participants were presented with the educational opportunities offered to students by the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, and a range of relevant applied fields was outlined. In particular, the use of nuclear energy and radiation safety issues were discussed, as well as the prospects for the development of space technologies and astrophysics. The final event of the meeting was an educational science show, during which students were able to see experiments related to fire, jet propulsion, and radiation effects.
